' On his way back the soldier discoverthe severed wire, promptly repairit and nt once returned to his post, d therefrom sent urgent massages. Meanwhile the Austrians began an ranee movement, but the messages the heroic officer and soldier saved d situation. The Italian troops b.v a iiid advanced rushed tho Austrians th the bayonet and drove them back disorder.
