No. 4 Proposal Drainage Loan. THE LOCAL ~BODIES LOANS ACT, 1913 Ihe Pukekohe B trough CourKal hereby gives public notice of i's intention to raise a loan pursuant to tie above-mentioned Act and its amendments. (1) The loan is required for the purpose of constructing a septic tank, filter bed and part of a main sewer (being portion of a drainage system) in the Borough of Pukekohe, including the acquisition of any land necessary for the purposes aforesaid and the payment of all engineering, clerical and other expenses incidental to the carrying out of such work. (2) The sum proposed to be borrow-

(3) The proposed security for the loan is a special rate of one-fourteenth of a penny in the Pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property within the Borough of Pukekohe and being an annua), recurring rate for a period of thirty-six and a-half years or until such time as the loan shall be repaid The whole loan is to be repayable within'a period of thirtysis and a half years from the raising of the loan in accordance with tine aporopriate table of the State Advances Office. The Pukekohe Borough Council hereby gives public notice of its intention to raise a loan pursuant to the above-mentioned Act and its amendments. (1) The loan is required for the purpose of grading, forming, metalling and paving roads and streets, together with clerical, advertising, engineering and other expenses incidental thereto as follows: Main Roads, including £ West, Puni, Tuakau, Manukau, Seddon, Queen, East and Harris Streets .. 13,248 Secondaby Roads, including Hickey's, Beatty's, Paerata, Helvetia. Victoria, Cape Hill, Barter's Hill extension and Potter's Boads 3,360 Unformed Boads, including Dynes', Beresford, Nelsen, Morrow's, McKinney's, Hill Top, McGuire's, Kaye's, Helvetia to Beatty's, Boose-Reynolds', Railway Station to Borough Boundary, Lovett's, Eraser's to Beresford Bowe's, Moses Routley to "Wilkinson's .. 12,180 Residential Sheets, including Tobin; Albert, Edinburgh -fit. Pursuant to section 10 of The Local Bodies Loans Act 1913 I give public notice that separate polls of ratepayers upon each of the above proposals to raise loans will be taken at the Borough Council Office, Edinburgh Street, Pukekohe, on Thursday 13th January, 1916, between the hours of 9 a.m. and 7 p.m. H. G. R. MASON, Mayor. SPECIAL NOTE. The Borough Council undertakes to enter into a binding agreement with the Franklin County Council not to collect any rates in respect _ of the above Loans from the portion of the Borough whicn will shortly be included in the County.
