PAPAKURA.

A general exodus of residents to the Auckland Racing Club's carnival took place en Monday, and 'tis sud that much foreign capital was left in the metropolis. This is • matter that should receive the serious consideration of the Board, as the water and a lighting scheme are most necessary to the future ot Papakura.
