Despite war times the Christmas trade at the various business premises in Pukekohe continues brisk, and tbe traders, on their part, phce for their customers' selection quite a* large a range of goids as in past years. The person who says "it does not seem like Christmas" has certainly not inspected the shops in Pukekohe. in all lines of business it is apparent that careful thought has been given to tbe likely needs of the peopl j at this season of the year and some very good end attractive displays may be seen. Th:re is a bis; and vaihd range of goois-in fict, there u absolutely no need for shoppers to go past tbe Pukekohe retailers for any purchases this Christmas. This applies to every li e of business. Careful assortment of their wares enables the retailers to offer the best as regards s:lection, quality and price. People cannot do better than to make their Christmas purchases in Pukekohe; no matter what their neids may be they will rind full value at the local business establishments.
