By instructions of the Public Trustee a sale of the stock, implements, etc. was held by Messrs. Alfred Buckland and Sons on the late Mr J. T. Perry's farm on Saturday and was very well attended. A social will be held in the Public Hall, on Tuesday next, in aid of the Hall funds. The Hall has frequently been let, gratis during the oarniyal period so that it is thought fbat thwre should be substantial support from the public on the occasion under notice,
2fa large crops of oats can be noticed in this district but the small crops promises to be Yery heavy. Hay also has harvested well.
