MANUREWA.
With the advent of the warm weather, quite a number of the Manurewa residents are camping on the beach at Weymouth. This seaside resort is fast becoming popular. Two very necessary essentials it possesses—that is a fine beach and good fishing. Residents, particularly those who journey to the city daily by train, are extremely disappointed with the Railway authorities. Despite ill our agitation and the promises received from the Department we have now a wor<e service than we had 18 months ago. Unless we get some improvement soon, the result will be a check on settlement in this district. With the formation of a Town Board in March next or April next, it is hoped that one of the first duties this 3oard will take up will be that of an agitation for an improved train service.
