SALE REPORTS.
Messrs J I Stembridge and Co report ai follows: At our usual week}; sale on Piiday last we had a good attendance and bidding was brisk, good prices being realised. Poultry:— Hens sold at from Is 6d to 2i 6d, roosters 2s 6d to 3s 6d, turkeys 14s, and ducks Is to 2s 31 Cabbage 2s to 3s 6d dozen, peas Is 2d peck, onions 4s 6d cwt, potatoes 8s cwt. Sundries at usual rates.
At a special sale on Saturday ot bankrupt stock in the estate of W Wardleworth, we bad a good attendance, but biddng dragged and low prices were realis:d.
At a epecial sale on Tuesday, on ths farm, at Bucklsind, of Mr Hansen's ljva and dead stock we had a la'ge attendance. Bidding was brisk throughout, and all lots were cleared except a piano and a sewing machine. Cows fetched £l2 to £l4; pig', 38s; borss £IQ 10s; trap, £9; tools, furniture and sundries realised good prices.
