Since the war, Mrs. Asquith lias inci eased iu popularity in Society and out of it. She has been going about :i great deal with her distinguished husband, and i» much in demand at public functions of all kinds. Before her marriage Mrs. Asquith—or -Miss Margot Tciiuaut, as she then was—was considered a very eligible bride-to-be, and speculation was rife as to who would Ih< the lucky man to lead her to the altar. When 't becamo known that she had given her heart and hand to the future Prime Minister, Mr. Leopold Rothschild perpetrated a terrible pun.. "H'm," ho said, "it's seems that he i, the only man why can ASK WITH SUCtl'sb."
