[be canvassers for the Wounded s Soldiers' Fund bave been busy in tbe Manurewa district, and to date, not including the amounts realised at the Paddy's Market held yesterday, £270 has been forwarded by the secretary, Mr A. G. Mabce. The organising experience of the latter has been particularly valuable in the latest effort, and the result is creditable to the Manurewa, Win, Takanini and Weymouth districts That the canvassers alio have dune tteir work well is demonstrated by the large amount by which the Southern Quecn'u candidature has been supported.
