SUCCESSFUL DISPERSAL SALE.

The Late Capt. Wilkinson's

Estate.

In tbe presence of a large company of agriculturists and Jersey cattle bre«ders, drawn from all parts of the North Island, Messrs Alfred Auckland aod Sons conducted, on Wednesday, an auction sale of pedigree Jersey cattle, horses and farm implements on behalf ot the executors of the late Captain A. E. Wilkinson on the farm at PukekohP. Excellent prices were realised, and it is highly satisfactory that very little of the herd will be leaving the district, since the buyers were practically residents of the Lower Waikato. Prices and purchasers were as follows:

Catbcart; heiler "I'pncarrow's Cloudj Dawn," 28gns, Mr J. Fulton, Whangarata; bull calf, "The Woodland's Prince," 6gns. Mr A. Cathcart; cow, "Pepper," B2gna, Mr A. A. White, Manurena; cow, "Pepper's Girl," 80grw, Mr A. A. White; cow, "Brown Eye?," 30gos, Mr R. F. Wilkinson; heifer, "Princess Bountiful/' 2lgns, Mr D. Hayes, Waiuku; yearling bull, "The Woodlaud's Boy" 13gns, Mr W. H. Barrihall, Waiuku; yearling bull, "Loyalty's Noble," 60gns, Mr J. McDonald.

Mr J. J. Craig, of Auckland, bought a yearling colt at £l4 and a 2-year-old filly at £26, Mr Marrioer ot Manurewa, paying £32 for a grey horse. A waggon sold for £46, and a cultivator for £ll.

A farm at Pukekawa belonging to the estate and consisting of 200 acres sold at £lO 6s per acre, Mr A. Cathcart, of Onewhero, being tbe purchaser.
