DISTRICT NEWS
TUAKAU A SUDDEN DEATH. Mr Bernard McGahao, eldest son of Mr J. McGahan, dropped dead this morning at his parent's residence in Dominion road. The deceased, who was 32 years of age, t had been attending his duties as usual earlier in the redwing. He had intended taking part in the patriotic function in Mr MadiU's grounds and just prior ti his demise hsd been talking in the dining room to his mother, sister and Miss Taylor, of Pukekohe. He bad never been' attended by a doctor, having always been in good health. Dr Bronte arrived, from Pukekohe about midday in reepon-e ti an urgent summons, but could only pronounce life extinct.
Mr A. H. Tapper baa .been sdiscd that his three thorouhgbred miree, Warbler, Lady Earns and Zinnia, whici are at the Glenora Park stud, have each foaled, one to Marble Arch and the other two to General La tour.
