DRURY

On Wednesday night a public meeting was held in the Drury Public Hall, at wbicb Mr Jos. Flanagan, chairman of the Franklin Countv Council, presided. Tbe meeting was called to discuss matters in connection witb the raising of funds for the Wounded Soldiers, and a strong committee was elected to carry tbe work on. A concert has been scheduled for November 6th to open the entertament campaign. It lies with the people of the district to do their bit to help on such a good work, and the secretary of the committee, Mr Fyte, will be pleased to hear of volunteers to aid the cause with their talents or cash:
