Members and intending members of the Pukekohs Branch of the National Ksserve arc reminded that tha annual meeting of ths Branch is to "be held to-morro* (Tuesday) evening in the Horse Bazaar. That advertising in the "Pukekohe and Waiuku limes'* pays is the testimony of a commercial traveller, who was last week paying his first visit to the Lower Waikato. Whilst at Mercer he received instructions from his firm to make a call at Waiuku, and the country being new to him his only knowledge ot means of accesa to Waiuku was by way if the coach to and from Pukekohe. As the same wculd have entailed a trip extending over two days he was iu a quandry how to carry out another business appointment he had made elsewhere. He, however, perused a copy oi" this paper and finding the announcement therein ot the motor car service between Pukekohe and Waiuku he availed himself of the same and did the return t'ip In one day.
