Mr Harold G. Lysnar announces that be has removed his dental surgery rooms to Lawries Buildings, opposite the Pukekohe Hotel. Tbe premises have only just been erected and have been specially fitted up to meet Mr Lysnar's rerequirements. Bags or sacks used for potatoes, basic slag, flour, sugar, cement, etc., can be utilised fur the purpose required. By an official notice in our advertising columns a warning is issued by the Minister of D.fence as to wrongful dealing in arms, accoutrements, ammunition or mili ary clothing, the property of the Government, the same constituting an offence for whi.h pros cutions will be instituted. If such property comes into the . possession of any person rot entitled to it cotification of the fact niU9t be given to the police cr to the Defence Department.

As will be seen from our advertising columns, the public have the opportunity ot spending a thoroughly enjoyable time at the gift afternoon on Saturday next at tbe Pukekobe Bowling Green. An interesting bowling tournament will be held, short addresses will te delivered by a member of the Auckland Queen Carnival Executive and his Worship the Mayor of Pukekohe. During the afternoon the Pukekohe Town Band will render selections, and afternoon tea will be provided by the Mayoress and other ladies. The public ate invited to bring Christmas gifts for the men of our district at the Dardanelles. Gifts of pipes, tobacco, cigarettes, chocolate, handkerchiefs, towels, soap, writinp material, tinned goods, biscuits, etc, and any other ealables that will keep till Christmas will be welcomed. It donors cannot think of anything suitable, an appropriate gift wiJ be purchased if the value in cash is donated.
