Thejadvent of spring has now made jjtielf felt in the district and crops are generally looking well, with the exception of some patches of early potatoes, where the blight is greatly in evideaca and has caused practically complete destruction. There are, however, tome ca:ly potatoes ready to dig, thanks to the efficacy of spraying methods.
The continued wet weather has hindered farm woik and weeds are gieatly in evidence as the result. Mr Ted Faust tt has disposed of his farm to Mr Middle ton at a very Batiafactory figure.
