A SOLDIER'S DEATH.

The death occurred at Trentham Hospital on Wednesday last ot Private L. G. MeKinstry, of the A Company, Sevetith Reinforcements, from cerebro-spinal meningiti". The deceased soldier had been suffering from the disease for s'ms three nnnths, but hop3B had been enertained of his recovery. He was the second son of Mr Leslie MeKinstry, the well-known builder of Ponsonby, an ex-resident of Papakura, Mr W. MeKinstry, of Papakura, baing his uncle. The deceased's mother, Mrs Amelia MeKinstry, is a daughter ot Mrs E. Blake, of Pukekohe. Mr George MeKinstry, a brother rf deceased, is on his way to the front with tha Earl ot .Liverpool's Own Regiment.
