WIFE'S DISGUST.
HfSBAXT) DIVORCED FOR ENTERING PALACE.
from the Kansas Divorce Courts comes a.n amusing echo of a Buckingham Palace incident of some months Australasians will remember the ea.so of an American named Pipe, who .-oiled the wall of the gardens of Buckingham Palace and managed to make hi-; way into the building, remaining secreted for some hours before he was discovered in close proximity to the royal apartments. Some public outcry was raised at the time, but as the man's 'fiction appeared to be merely the outcome of a spirit of freakish bravado, the King interceded on his behalf, and ht> escaped with little or no punishment.
Nemesis has overtaken him at hi>:ne, however, for Mis Harry D. Pipe, disgusted a,nd indignant at the unwelcome notoriety forced upon her as n result of her husband's exploit, has petitioned for a divorce —and obtained it.
