BUCKLAND.
LADY LIVERPOOL LEAGUE. The monthly meeting of the Buckland branch of the Lady Liverpool League was hell in the Hall, September 9th, eighteen hdies being present. It was derided to hold a concert in November, to assist the funds of the League. After tne routine business had concluded, the following persons handed m work for the past month:—
j Socks-Miss Driver, Mrs Scott, j Mrs McKean, Mrs Driver (3 pairs ! donated), 5 pairs each; Mr Perrin j (2 pairs donated), Mrs McAnally : Mrs Harris, i pairs each; Mrs Attenborrow. Si pairs; Mrs Hartlaad, Mrs McKobbie, Mrs Twidle, Mrs Jesscr, Mrs Walker, senr., 2 pair- each; Mrs Marshall, Mrs Hugh Barber, Mrs J. Barber, Mrs T. Walker, Mrs Avery, Mias E. Harris, and Miss McKean, one pair each; 52 pairs socks in all. Mufflers—Arthur Newton, 3; Mrs Newton, 2; Pipi Wily, Freda Jackson, one each. Mrs Home, senr., four articles children's clothing and three cushions.
