Mr D. K. Hamilton presided and «ie following members of tha uneral Committee of the Franklin A. and 1\ Association were present at a meeting held in ths Society s ollice on the showground on Friday luut, viz.: Messrs J. Wyllie, JHoulston, J. H. Webb, J. Potter, A. P. Daysh an.l the secretary, Mr J. M. Baxter.
'lhj J'.rsev Cattle Breeders' Association wrote offering to subsidise prizes for the next show £ for £ of any sum from £5 to £lO for pedigree cows holding authenticated milk nod butter-fat records made under Mho Department of Agriculture. —l'hi matter was referred to the committee revising the schadule. A donation of £2O ior a special class was accepted with thanks from tha Auckland Racing Club. It whs decided that the secretary should supervise tha erection of the new yards under the direction of the Ground and Finance Cummittee.
