PUKEKOHE'S LOAN SCHEME.
A meeting of the Pukekohe Borough Council was held last evening for further consideration of the suggested roading improvements to be included in the proposed loan poll. The Council sat from 7 p.m. until 11.30 p.m. and carefully dealt with the report of the Works Committee, ultimately deciding to recommend to the ratepayers an expenditure out of loan of £5160 on roads including £3OO for a stone crusher. A detailed report of the proceedings will appear in our next issue.
