LODGE EXCELSIOR, 1.0.0. F.
Tbe installation meeting of tbe above Lodge was held in the Oddfellows' Hall, Pukekohe, on Tuesday evening of last week. There was a large gathering, including 25 visitors from Auckland, some being Grand Lodge representatives, 20 from Waiuku, 20 from Papakura, and 30 members of the Excelsior Lodge. Three new members were initiated and six other persons were were proposed as members. Officers were installed as follows: Junior Past Grand, Bro. Robt. Schlaepfer; Noble Grand, Bro R. B. Blake; Vice Grand, Bro. J. Roger; Permanent Secretary, Bro. W. L. Jones; Treasurer, P.G. Bro. H. E. Smith; Recording Secretary, Bro. H. Phleging. Oa the close of the business the evening was given over to harmony, Hongs and recitations being rendered by local and visiting brethren.
