FIRE BRIGADE COMPETITIONS.

The following are the results of the annual competitions held by the Pukekohe Volunteer Fire Brigade on August 7tb, viz.:Two Men Coupling event (for Mr Coady's medals)— Won by Firemen Brown and Rollinsoo in 53 seconds.

One Man Championship resulted as follows:—Hydraotman Dunsbee, 86 l-sth seconds, Mr Lusher's medal, 1; Fireman M. Brown, 88 2-stn seconds, Mr R. Miller's prize, 2; Fireman F. Bloxham, 92 2-sth seconds, Mr Cowrie's prize, 3; Fireman L. Brown, 97 1-Bth seconds, Roulston Bros, prize, 4. One Man Carrying Event.—Fireman F. Bloxham, 34 4-sth seconds, Mr Clarke's medal, 1; Hydrantman Dunsbee, 36 seconds, Mr Wright's medal, 2; Fireman L. Brown, 40 seconds, Mr Dempsey's prize, 3. Mr H. Thornton acted as judge; Mr 0. McLean as starter and Messrs Wright and Jones as timekeepers.
