A Maori, ot pugilistic tendencies, issued a challenge to tight to "all and sundry" iu Tuakau on Saturday evening ard rct'usrd to depart in peace when requested to do to by Constable Taylor, with the r;sult tbat after a good deal of tolerance on the part of the prlie: man he was taken into custody. Giving the name of Purua, he was charged this morning at a J P.'s Court at Fokekohe, before Mr C. Roadlay, J.F., with havng been drunk and disorderly, aid was fined 5s and 2s 6d costs.
