On Saturday a (oj ball match took place between l'apaii.nu and Ararimu combined and Hunua in Mrs J. Hills paddock. Al hough fie day showery the visitors mustered a toud team, but through Bimi misunderstanding the local Bide could only muster ninj [layers. Paparunu and Ararimu won easily by thirty points to nil, Mr U. Allison was rcleree, and gave great satisfaction to tuth fides. At the conclusion of the match a collection was taken up towards lb? Hospital Ship Fund ard realised XI D?. It i 3 under tcod that a return match is to be played at Paparunu on Saturday, July lUlb.
