STOCK SALES. The New ZealaDd Loan Company report:— At Waiuku, on 15th May, we held our usual monthly sale. There was an average yarding and prices were on a par with late sales. Dairy cows sold at from £4 to £7 10s; empty cows, £3 to £4 Via; calves, 20s to 355; bulls, £3 to £7 10a. Also a large quantity of sundries sold at late rates. At Pap kura on May 15tb, we held a clearing sale of Mr Jno. Henderson's live and dead stock. There was a very large attendance, and a good sale resulted. The dairy cowc, which were in backward condition, sold at trom £5 to £7 10s; calves, 21s to 30s; horses, £ls U £26; pigs, sows £3 to £3 10s, slips 12s to 13s; and large quantities of sundries and furniture sold at ruling rates. Messrs Alfred Buckland and Sons report:— At Pukekohc on May 17, we held a special horse sale, when barely the advertised number came forward. There was a keen demand for all young sorts at values in vendors' favour. Young draught* sold at from £2B 10s to £35; aged draughts, £l6 10s to £25; medium draught?, £26 to £33; plough hones, £lB 10s to £25 10s; creamery cart sorts, £l6 to £2l; buggy horses and good hacks, £ls 5a to £25; light harness class, £8 bs to £l4; gig sort?, £s[to £l3 10s; Shetland ponies, £5 ba to £9 10s; aged Hnd worn horseß, 10s upwardß.
