BOWLING.
Two teams representing the Waiuku Bowling Club journeyed to Pukekohe on Thursday last and played return matches against members of the local Club. Both games were evenly contested, either side winning one, but Waiuku secured the victory on the gross score by three points. The greens were in good order. Afternoon tea was supplied during the afternoon. The results were as follows, the Waiuku players being mentioned first in e-ich instance:— G. V. Williams, K. J. Harris, R. Fenwick and G. Stone 21 beat J. T. Hewson, C. Clarke, A B. Barter and C. K. Lusher 17; H. King, R. Reid, S. Rossiter and Mearns 20, lost to G. H. Armstrong, M. Wright, D. Roulston and J. Adams 22.
