NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a Local Bill, for the Division of the Coir ty of Raglan and the creation of a new County thoiecut to be named " Liverpool Counly," will bo presented to the House of Representatives at the ensuing Session. A Copy of such Bill is hereunder written:— NEW ZEALAND. 1915. No. LOCAL. AN ACT TO CONSTITUTE LIVERPOOL COUNTY. Whereas by Section 10 of " The Counties Act, 1908," it is onacted that no new County shall be constituted (save as therein mentioned except under a special Act, and that no new County shall be soconstituled as to contain parts only of any Road District or Town District. A'id Whereas it is desirable to provide that a portion of the said County of Raglan shall be formed into a new County, to be Called "The County of Liverpool," be it therefore enactoi by the General Assembly of New Zealand in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same as follows: 1 This Act may be cited as the Liverpool and Raglan Counties Act. 1915. 2. This Act shall come iuto opertion on the day of 191 0. The County of Liverpool is hereby constituted. It shall comprise that portion of the County of Raglan particularly described in tho First Schedule hereto. 4. The Boundaries of the County of Raglan are hereby altered, and shall be as described in the Second Schedule hereto. 5. The provisions in the Ear-

hours Amendment Act, 1910, that the Electors of the Eaglan County shall return One Member to the Auckland Harbour Board is hereby repealed ; in lieu thereof, it is hereby enacted that the Electors of the Counties of Liverpool and Eaglan shall henceforth jointly return One Member to such Harbour Board, and the said Counties shall be an adjoining district for the purposes of the last-mentioned Act. This provision shall not take effect until the date of the Election after the passing of this Act of a Member to such Board. 6. From aud after the coming into operation of this Act, n) local body other than the Liverpool County Council shall withiu the

limits of the County exercise any jurisdiction or authority over any roads, or over or in relation to any matter or thing in respect of which jurisdiction is conferred upon County Councils under any Act. 7. Nothing herein contained shall affect the power of the Governor to proclaim any portion of the said Counties a Borough or Town District. 8. (1 The Government subsidy payable to the County of Kaglan, as hitherto constituted, shall be divided proportionately, according to the ratable value of the Counties of Liverpool and Eaglan. (2 No greater amount of subsidy shall be paid in respect of the County constituted than would have been payable if this Act had not been passed. THE FIRST SCHEDULE. BOUNDARIES OF LIVERPOOL COUNTY. Commencing at the intersection of the north-west bonndary of Allotment 60, Parish of Onewhero, with the Waikato River, thence on the east by the western bank of the Waikato River to the Te Awa-o-te Atua Stream, thence on the South by the Te-A\va-o-te Atua Stream, thence by the south boundary of Allotment 9, thence by the south and south-west boundaries of Allotment 6, thence by the south and west boundaries of Allotment 17, thence by the south and west boundaries of Allotment 167, thence by the south and west boundaries of Allotment 205, thence by the south and west boundaries of Allotment 10, thence by the South boundary of Allotments 119 and 192, thence by the west boundary of Allotment 192, thenoe by the south and west boundaries of Allotment 193, all in the Parish of Pepepe: thence by the south boundaries of Allotments 87 and 88, in the Parish of Whangape, thence ky the east south and west boundaries of Allotment j215 to the south-west corner of Allotment 171, in the Parish of Pepepe, thence by the south boundaries of sections 5. 6, and 7. of Block XIV, Awaroa Survey District, and 7, 8, and 9 of Whaingaroa Survey District, thence by the south-east and southwest boundaries of Te Akau No. B9 to the Tasman Sea; thence on the west by the Tasman Sea : thence on the north by the south bank of the Waikato River to the point of commenceTHE SECOND SCHEDULE, AMENDED BOUNDARIES OF RAGLAN COUNTY.
