Mr White, manager cf the local branch cf the Bank of New Zealand, met wiih a mishap with his motor bike the other cay wh=n passing through Maeku. although travelling sbwly by tome means nil bike wheel sklddid and the machine went ever with him, Mr White sustained some painful bruises, but happily was not incapacitated fr:m office duty. The maefche aiso met with minor damage.
