Eesidents are requested to note that Boulston's Drapery Sale closes on Tuesday next. Meanwhile real bargains in various lines are being offered to the public at Mr Eoulston's establishment. Messrs J. A very fine selection of the latest styles in boots and shoe?, just to hand, is advertised as on .view at King's boot store in Pukekohe. Although city prices have been recently advanced for leather goods no increase in price had been made by Mr King. The death occurred on Wednesday, at the Auckland Hospital, at the early age of 31 years, of Mr Frederick John Clinch. The deceased, who was born in Australia, was a railway employee, and had been stationed at Pukekohe frr about a year, and in his capacity as porter he had proved himself a most courteous and obliging officer. The following tenders were received by Mr F. W. Mountjoy, architect, for the erection of shop premiges for Messrs Shotbolt and Ci., labour only:—Prince and Davis £93, H. E. Smith £7B, D. W.
