Representatives of the Hupua Club visited Papakura on Saturday, 9th mat, and tried conclusions with the representatives of the Papakura Club. The Hunua team compiled 30 runs (Lodge 8 wickets for 7 runs, including the hat trick) and Papakura compiled 129 runs for 5 wickets (G. Wilson 31, Merrington 23, Evans 23). The Papakura Club has lost the services of its vice-captain, Mr C. Waugh, who has gone to Australia and will be absent at least six weeks.
Pukekohe v. Bombay.
This match was played at Pukekohe on Saturday, Bombay winning by 53 runs. Blake carried his bat right through the innings for the victor*.
