PUKEKOHE WEST ROAD BOARD.
Monthly Meeting. The adjourned monthly meeting of the Pukekohe West Road Board was held in Mr H. G. K. Mason's office on Saturday evening last, the following members attending: Messrs ' J. E. West (chairman), E. Piggott, T. W. Woods, It. Pilkington, W. 1 Boase and the clerk, Mr H. G. R. Mason. In connection with Hill No. 2 loan it was reported that the ratepayers concerned, with one or two >; exceptions, requested the monies to r-| be expended o.i Reynold's roads instead of on Pollock's road.'—lt was H left to Mr Pilki<;t(ton to confer with the few remaining ratepayers who had not so applitd, ami to decide where the money was to be syent. la reply t) a communication from 3 the Board of Agriculture, a resolu- $ tion was passed favouring the enforcement of the Noxious Weeds & Act. , Mr Boase was empowered to arrange for the formation of the *1 I'aerata road between the borojgh JJ boundary and the Karakaj boundary j at a cost not exceeding £6. 1 The matter of metalling the road '■<<. near the Puni creamery was Itft iu the chairmnn'ti hands.
