A welcome social was tendered to the Rev. J. U. Fussell oa Tuesday evening by the parishioners in the Parish hall, which passed off very successfully. Mr Selwyn Vaughan was chairman. The evening's programme proved most interesting. One hundred and fifty head of store bullocks arrived in Pukekohe from Whangarei on Tuesday evening, to the order of Mr Jas. Given, Waiuku. 7.„ a beasts, which were in fifteen truckß, of ten each, were in the "pink " of condition.
