He leaves a widow, five sons and four daughters, one son being with the contingent in Samoa, one in the Post Office Department and one in the Railway Department. The late Mr McGahan was widely known and universally respected. The funeral, which took place on Saturday, at Tuakau cemetery, was very largely attended, Father O'Hara officiating.
