WATER. The "body corporate called The Mayor, Councillors and Burgesses of the Borough of Pukekhhe hereby gives public notice that it proposes to raise a Special Loan Of £2,800 at the current rate of Interest, not exceeding 6 per cent, per annum, for 36J years for the purposes following:— 1. For the erection of a Re- £ servoir, and the purchase of all necessary pipes, valves, fittings, &o, for same, and the purchase of any land which may be required for reservoir site and other waterworks purposes .. .. 2500 2. The legal, clerical, advertising, banking, brokerage, and other charges and costs of and incidental to the raising of the loan, and the interest for the first year .. .. 300 The amount appearing after each purpose is the amount proposed to be borrowed for such purpose. The total amount for such special loan is £2BOO. The proposed security for the said loan and for payment of sinking fund amounting to one per cent per annum) and interest is a Spocial rate of 7-32 d in the pound, proposed to be made and levied on the rateable value of all rateable property within the old Town Board special rating area.
