Reid's trotting horse Eccentric won the big handicap at Ashburton i.n Boxiug Day. His other trotting horse, Prince Rufus, finished second in the Auckland Trotting Cup on Monday, winning a stake ot £IOO. Yeslercay Princa Rufus won the Christinas Handicap, to the value of £l5O.
