BOWLING NOTES.
On Boxing Day the few bowlers who remained in Pukekohe took part iu a progressive pairs tournament which resulted in Mr F. l'oarce
winning in the skips' section after tieing with Mr C. Lusher for tint Slace. The winner played with some ash at the latter end of the gamo, when with one up and niue Loads gono ho added threo more points to his advantage, winning a keenly contested game by four points. Messrs J. Adams, O. McLean and R. F. Webster tied from amougst tho leads for first place, the latter winning from Mr McLean in th» semi-final Tho final was played last evening when Mr J. Adams had rather an easy win over Mr R F. Webster.
There is a proposal on foat to play another progressive pairs tournamont on New Yoar's Day. It is anticipated that a large number of bowling onthusiasts will participate.
