STOCK SALE AT PUKEKOHE
The cattle sale held in Messrs Uuckland and Sons' Pukekohe yards, on Monday, brought forward a big yarding of cattle, particularly fat cattle, tha pens being well filled wth ttock of every description.
Four-year-old bullocks sold from £9 10s to £lO 53. Three to three and a-half year olds made from £8 His io £9 ss; ether three year old?, from £7 10i to £8 ss. Two to three year oil?, £5 10s to £7; and yearlings to 18-months steers, £3 10s to £4 ss. Store cows, £2 10s to £4 10s. Heifers were dull of tale. Yearling to 18-mcnths heifers realised from £2 10s to £2 10s. Calves, best, this season's, from 28s to 38s; smaller, 18s to 245; small and weedy, 5s to 13 a . Gocd prices were paid for fat steers, the piic.s ranging from £lO to £l4 ss.
Dairy cows sold from £5 to £8 153; heifers, £3 15s to £6 10?; bulls, £2 Is to £8 bs; and fat cows, £5 10s to £9 bs.
