Successful Dance Social.

A very successful dance social, which was arranged by the Waiuku Orchestra, took place in the Waiuku hall last Thursday, the proceeds being for the Belgian Relief Fund. About 38 couples enjoyed the fine music supplied by Messrs Tong, Chandler and Webster, and everybody appeared to have a good time. Supper was provided by the ladies and was paid every attention. Mi A. 8. Barriball was M.C. The hall was not charged for by the Hall Committee, which allowed the promoters to band over tbe substantial sum of £1 13s 6d to the fund mentioned. A dance programme, similar to the assemblies was supplied by the orchestra, which met with heatty appreciation.
