BUCKLAND.
A RETURN SOCIAL,
The return social to the ladies tcok place in the hall on Friday evening. The committee were unfortunate enough to strike the only wet night there has been for a very long lime, but despite the bad weather conditions there was a good gathering of young people, all of whom spent a very e" joyable evening. The music was tupplitd by Hawthorn's orchestra (violin, cornet and pian"). Extras were played by Mrs Davey acd Miss Bignall. The catering was done by Mr A. J. Prescott, of Tuaktu The dull sof M.C. wrr? carried out by Mtssrs A. liilkey, A. Home ard 11. IVt r, who were very attei tive, and saw that no one was wanting for part era Dancing was k ! pt mernlv gcing until tbe small hours of m;rcing.
