The Anniversary Services.

Anniversary ssrvices to celebrate the completion of 36 years of Methodism in Pukekohe took place on Sunday last. The Rev. G. H. Mann, of Devonport, took the morning service. Thej anthem was Jackson's "Te Deum," while Mr Ashurst's solo, "The Widow's Mite," from "the Prince of Peace" cantata, was up to his usual high standard. At the evening service the choir, under the leadership of Mr Ashurst, retdered the anthem "0 Praise the Name of the Lord," ard Mrs Pilkicgton and Miss Usher sang the duet "Charity." At this service the Kev. U. Frost read as the first lesson "Solomon's Prayer at tbe Dedication of the Temple" (11. Chron. VI.), while the text taken by the preacher was from 1220 d psalm—"l was glad when they said unto me, Let us go into the House 6i the Lord." Celebrations in connection with the anniversary will be continued on Thursday evening when the anniversary social will be held in the church, at which special items and addresses will be given. The money is to be devoted to the Trust Funds.
