COMRIE'S COMET.
Growing Smaller.
Mr L J. Comrie, of tho University College, Auckland, son of Mr J. A. Connie, of Pukekohe, telegraphs us as follow- :
" I found the comet early to-night with a tele-rope, but it was not visible to the naked eve. Its position confirms the theory that il is receding | and will not lie a naked eye object
again. It present the same ap. peniaui e in the telescope as it did at first, but is smaller."
