A ve y njecessful dance, giv n b\ tht oa helaro l Fukekuhe fchst, was held in the hall on Tuesday, September 29th. Upwards of forty couple* were present a"d—thenks to the management cf G. Keane, J. Sturgeon, and B. Smith, who actfd as M.'aC , and to Mis Keane, piano, ard Mr Latta, violin, who supplied the music—a very enjoyable evening was spent. Ine hall was very tastefully decorated with flowers, ferns etc. I understand the ladi;a of the district are giving a return dance shortly.
