SCRIPTURE EXAMINATION.
Successful District
Students-
The result of the Scripture knowledge examination, held last August by the Auckland Sunday School Union, have now been made known.
Uver JSOO candidates of different denominations sat, ard slightly more than half were successful in passing. These were from as far south as Wanganui. The succensf'ul candidates in fliii district were as below
Honor certificates, third grade. Lily Pilkingtcn, Pukekohe, To; Edith May Allan, Rama Rama, 71. Honor prizes, fourth grade,- May Allen, Rama Rama, 77; Thomas Wright 70, and Nellie Goldsworthy 70, Mauku.
Honor prize, fifth grade. Ray mond Firth, Mauku, 86. Honour certificates, fifth grade.— Emily Pilkington, Pukekohe, 78; Freda Jackson 75 ai.d Rose Allan 72, Buckland; Charles Kern, Kama Rami, 71. Honor certificates. si;;th grade.— Wesley Pleydell, 82, Edna Bell 82, Haiold Pleydell 72, all of Mauku. Bertha Wyatt. Paparata, 75; Roy Hull, Otaua, 73. Honor certificates, seventh grade.— Linda Hunter, Pukekohe, 74; Myrtle Pleydell, Mauku, 70.
