A COLUMN FOR THE PEOPLE Straying HorsesTO THE EDITOR] Sir,-May 1 suggest that the half-dozen draught horses which have been running at large on the roads and footpaths in the centre of tho borough for the last three or four days be accommodated with grazing on the recreation ground at the ratepayers expense, li would surely i be safer for tho public, and cheaper for iho ratepayers. 1 am, etc.,— VOX.
