Public Notice is heroby given that at a Special Mooting of the | Pukokoho Borough Council, hel.l on i tlio Utii day of September, H'N, " was resolved by way of Special Onlor that the Pukokoho Borough Council make By-laws under •'The Municipal Corporations Act, IDUS and the " Cemeteries Act, I'JOK" laud their lespective ninendments, | and any other power in that behalf i it thereunto enabling, t) amend the Waterworks' ByLuvs, and make Cemetery By-Laws, the object and purport of which areas follows, vi/. : WATERWORKS' BY-LAWS. To amend By-Laws Nos. 2 and 10 by inserting the words "or such amount as the Council may, by resolution, from time to time decide " after the word "Quarter" in subsections a and ;b) in No. -*, and after the word " same " in No. 10. CEMETERY BY-LAWS. (a Regulating the method and time for interments. (b) Fixing fees and charges for sections,' interments, erection of monument-, cave of graves, &c. (c) Regulating the erection and maintenance of Vaults. (d) Keeping records of graves and sections sold. 0) Prohibiting planting of trees, and regulating size of fences and shrubs, in cemetery. (f) Providing for maintenance and upkeep of cemetery. The said resolution will bo submitted for confirmation to a meeting of the Pukekohe Borough Council, to be held in the Council Chamber on WEDNESDAY, October 7th, 1914, at 8 p.m. A copy of the said By-Laws is deposited at the Borough Council Office, where the tame will be open for inspection by the public during office hours, until the date of confirming meeting.
