A letter from Mrs Hyde, Secretary of the Equipment Comuiiitee, Hamilton was read. Tho letter asked I'ukekohe whethor they could help Ham lton headquarters to liquidate a debt of £221 Ms incurred hy equipping Group I of which tho boys of this distiict forme 1 a part. After careful thought nnd discussion it was decided to donate i's IDs and also to send a letter stating that I'ukekohe had already sent a donation of so\ to the Defence Camp, Auckland, and with the sox and caps which would be ready to send at the end of next week, our donations in kind would be approximately £ls 1 Os. Tho names of more lalies desirous of knitting caps were handed in and canvassers were authorised to collect so\ or caps, commencing on Monday. Accounts amounting to£l 17s id were passed for payment.
Further donations : Mrs I'. Hogan, two heads of wool, Mrs To/or si\ pairs sox, Mrs Crispo three pairs and Mrs Floming two pairs.
