ALFRED BUCKLAND AND SONS. At Aka Aki on Thursday, August 13ih, we laid a Hearing sale on account of Mr Geo. Pulman. There was a large attendance, and high prices ruled. The cowe, which were a very choice lot, especially meeting with strong competition. Best cows made from £l4 to £l6; others, £7 12s 6d to £l3, averaging £lO ss; 28 cows, on account of Mr Jrs. Dunn, brought lrom £6 to £ll ss.
| At Run«.iman on Saturday, August 15th, we held a special sale of dairy stock, and had a large entry. I'he-e was o: ly a fair demand and all classes were lower in price. Best cows brought from £8 to £. 1 l; second quality cow?, £6 to £7 10s; other?, £3 103 to £5 10s; Mr F. P Lanzsford's registered pedigrea Jersey cows and heifers fold at from £lO 10s to 32gns; bulla 7J?ns to 20gn?. At Pokeno, on Monday, August 17th, and Runciman, Tuesday. Augu-t 18th, we held our usual monthly sales, and aa at othersales dairy stock was not in demand, but all descriptions of stores fo'.!nd ready buyers. Dairy cows ar.d heifers, £4 to £9; errpty cows £3 10s to £5 ss; fat cows, £5 10s to £7 15s; three-year-old steers, £6 to £0 15s; two-year-olds, £4 17s to £5 lis; yearling to 18-month st-crs, £3 to £4 ss; yearling heifers, £2 8s to £3 3s; good calves, £2 2s to £2 12s; smaller sorts, £1 8a to £2; bulls, £3 to £8 15s.

At Waiuku yards cn Saturday there was a good yarding of stock cf all descriptions, which sold at late rates. Best dairy cows and heifera sold at from £7 to £9, others £3 10s to £6 17s 6d; two to three-year-old steers, £6 10s to £8 6s; yearlings, £3 Is to £3 10s; calves, 20s to £2 ss; empty cows, £2 10s to £3 17s; bulls, £3 to £4 153; pigs, weancrs, 12a 6d to £1 1-.
A* Pukekohe yards on Monday we held cur special horse sale, when the advertised number came forward, and piices wera firmer than late sales. Feavv draught horses sold at frcm £22 to £35; medium ditto, £l7 10s to £3O; afed and worn draughts, £l2 to £2O; light harness horses, £8 to £l9; hacks, £5 to £l6; weeds, 20s; unbroken medium draught, £lO to £l7; hacks, £5 to £ls.
