There is a good deal of the patriotic spii it in evidence locally, and there is a widespread feeling that all who leave the distiict should be fully equipped without any expense to themselves or the Government. Mr W. C. Motion offered a hor.-e, Mr J. Urihble donated a military saddle, and other similar gifts ate certain to lie the outcome of the public meeting arranged by the Farmers' Union for Wednesday evening.
