There is every indication ot an early dairying season in the surrounding districts, creamery supplies being much ahead of last year at the same time. Despite unfavourable weather conditions stock have wintered well and are coming into profit in fairly (rood condition. In explanation of the increase in cream supply there have been substantial additions to the number of dairy nnimals, and in some instances the cows are coming in at an earlier period.
