RUGBY FOOTBALL.
PUKEKOHE 6, MANUKAU 3,
The representatives of the above Unions met at the Pukekohe Becreation Ground on Saturday last, Pukekohe winning by 6 points ti 3. The game was not a good exhibition of Rugby. The home backs did not Dlay to 3 well, never at any time showing combination in attack. The home forwards played a good game in the tight, but when it came to fast, open play were easily outpaced. The Manukau team, both back and forwaid, gave a fairly good display. Their forwards several times overran th) ball or else kicked too hard' when on the line, thus losing several chances of scoring. Taken altogether the visitors played the better garre and were decidedly unlucky to lose. W. Adams kicked two penalty goals for Pukekohe, and an unconverted try vas scored lor Manukau. Mr B. H. Andrew controlled the game.
MANUKAU JUNIORS 5, PUKE-
KOHE JUNIORS 0.
Pukekohe junior reps, journeyed to Papakura on Saturday to meet the Manukau junior reps., and were defeated by 5 points to nil.
